1. Let's face it: Size Matters... in a screen that is.  We all like big screens on our phones, I mean, even Apple has decided to let the size of the iPhone's screen grow.  However, if a mere 4 inches of screen real-estate isn't enough for you (seriously Apple, Android had a 4 inch screen about 2 years ago) then the obvious choice for you is an Android.  With screens ranging from just below 4 inches to the large 4.7 inch screen on the Galaxy S III, or even the gargantuan 5.5 inches of the upcoming Galaxy Note II, there is a phone for everyone.  And long gone are the days when you could only get a decent resolution on a Retina Display.  Screens with a density above 250 ppi have become a must in the smartphone world.

2. Freedom!  Android is an open source operating system that runs within the Linux Kernel.  If your geek-jargon isn't up to speed: Open source means that the OS can be customized by anyone for anyone.  The fact that Linux is also a part of the picture means that you can do nearly everything on an Android.  So if your UI isn't appealing to you then root away, ladies and gentlemen, and flash yourself a pretty-new ROM that fulfills your heart's every desire.  Just remember, always make a backup.

3.  Integrated Google services.  Even my iPhone user friends love their YouTube, Gmail and Google Chrome.  What makes Android super awesome is that the Google services are just so much better than the iOS apps.  Offline access to Gmail, a super slick Chrome browser, offline access to Maps, cloud storage via Google Drive and a pretty YouTube Application.  Maybe we're a bit spoiled.
