The Xbox World magazine's last words

The British Xbox World magazine is soon history, but the main editor wanted a graceful ending. In the latest edition the editors have dedicated whole 8 pages only for the new alleged Xbox 720.

According to the rumors gathered from game developers alongside other sources, the new device going by the codename Durango will have four processor cores, and four logical cores for each core to improve multitasking even further.

The new Xbox would have 8 gigabytes of memory, a new version of Kinect, a Blu-ray drive, 3D sounds, TV-out port and a new, "innovative" controller. On the top of the pack, the device could later get a bunch of augmented reality applications, which would be used with special glasses.

Xbox World's main editor Dan Dawkins says that the 8 pages contain all the information they've gathered from all kinds of sources, including game developers.

Dawkins says that the information revealed is likely very close to the real thing Microsoft is expected to unveil next summer at the E3 event.
