Samsung has another successful quarter

Samsung has yet again pulled another quarter full of success, making profits of $6.45 billion. Revenues jumped 50 percent year-over-year, growing to 52.87 trillion won ($47.6 billion).

Selling over 69 million smartphones and sitting on 33.1% global market share, their current position on the market is the best they've ever had.

Apple sold roughly half of what Samsung sold, leaving Apple just 17.9% market share.

Samsung is expected to have another, perhaps even a more successful quarter now that their new flagship, the Galaxy S4 is going on sale today in some countries.
