Samsung announced the very first Windows Phone 8 device at IFA in Berlin.

The phone measures at 8.7mm thickness and the body is made of beautiful brushed metal. The display measures at 4.8" and uses the Samsung HD SuperAmoled panel. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass 2, which is a new version of the today's standard in almost every smartphone.

Specs (everyone wants to know these, right?):

The CPU: Dual-core 1.5GHz.
Rear camera: 8MP AF.
Front camera: 1.9MP.

The phone comes in two variants, 16GB or 32GB. Both will also have a MicroSD card slot. And what's best, the 2300 mAh battery will keep the phone up and running all day.

The phone looks a lot like the Galaxy S II, smokin' hot!
