Here's what Nokia's Windows Phone 8 event gives you. The Nokia Lumia 920 and 820.
Lumia 920

The Lumia 920 has quite an impressive spec sheet, along with the vibrant Nokia-ish wide color range.
Specs for the device:
Display: 4.5" 720p (1280x768) PureMotionHD+ (next generation ClearBlack, with some more treats, we'll get back to those later)
Camera: PureView 8MP with "floating lens" image stabilization. LED flash, Carl Zeiss optics, 1080p video recording.
CPU: Dual-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU with Snapdragon S4 chipset
RAM: 1 GB
Connectivity: NFC, LTE
Memory: 32GB internal (no microSD (Nokia, why?))
Weight: 185g
Battery: 2000 mAh
The phone comes equipped with Windows Phone 8 and 7GB extra space on SkyDrive. It also features a built-in wireless charging technology, but there is still no information wether or not it will be included in the retail package. However, Nokia said the wireless charging will be available with future accessories.
Nokia is very proud of the PureMotionHD+ display technology. They say it will adjust the color and brightness according to the ambient light.
According to Nokia, the display uses a different kind of display refresh method, and it will provide the user even smoother and less blurry experience. The PDF file we came across shows that the average transition time from a frame to another on a regular display is around 23ms, and that of the PureMotionHD+ is just 9ms. The display also features a super-sensitive touch detection, thus enabling the use with thin gloves.
(You can see the PDF document here for more information).
The floating lens image stabilization is, according to its manufacturer even more robust than the image stabilization used in many dedicated cameras.
Lumia 820
Now to the less-expensive newcomer.

The Lumia 820 has a slightly smaller display and also a less whopping resolution.
Display: 4.3" WVGA (800x480) ClearBlack
Camera: 8MP Carl Zeiss
CPU: Dual-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU with Snapdragon S4 chipset
RAM: 1 GB
Connectivity: NFC, LTE
Memory: 8GB internal and microSD (yay!)
Weight: 160g
Battery: 1650mAh
The 820 is a cheaper price-range phone, and therefore lacks some of the awesome features in the 920, but however it still is able to impress.
The 820 also has the wireless charging feature along with the extra 7GB on SkyDrive, with Windows Phone 8 on board, of course.
No price for either of the phones have been announced yet.
