Microsoft and Google agree on EAS on Windows Phone 8

The support was supposed to end today (31st Jan), but with the new agreement made by Microsoft and Google the support will not end and Windows Phone users can continue using Google's email with EAS.
Google's email would still have worked through the IMAP protocol, but the users wouldn't have had push support, which notifies about new emails as they arrive.
Exchange Active Sync is also used to sync your calendar entries and contacts from Google's services to your Windows Phone device.
