The search giant Google has started providing internet plans and currently are available in Kansas City and Central Kansas in the US. Other areas will be covered later, and you can see the list here.
The plans are from $0/month (Yes, free! Well, almost) to $120/month. The free plan has a construction fee of $300 which can either be paid as a one time payment or in 12 $25 installments. Of course the free one is nearly too good to be true, but the speed isn't mind blowing. You get max 5mbps down and 1mbps upload speeds and no data caps. Google promises at least 7 years free service.
The $70 plan is another story. 1 Gigabit speed, 100 times faster than average American internet speed, says Google. This plan doesn't have a data cap either and is 1 Gigabit both ways, so you'll upload and download 100 times faster than before. The plan has a contract of 1 year.

If TV and fast internet is your thing, then you should consider the $120 plan. It combines a Nexus 7 tablet, a TV box, a storage box with a 1 Gigabit internet down and up.
A Network Box is included in all of the plans.
The $70 and $120 plans also include 1TB Google Drive space and the $300 construction fee is included in the monthly payment.
