Galaxy S IV Rumors (Hardware)

Here at nikosite.net we love our Samsung Galaxy S phones, and so naturally we are already excited about the (most likely) upcoming Galaxy S IV. Now, the phone has technically not been announced yet, and likely won't be for another 5 or-so months. However, that doesn't stop rumors from spreading around the web. Here are some of our favourite rumors so far.

Screen:
We won't go too much in depth here since our good-friend Niko has already posted an article located here on the possible "unbreakable" display that could come with the new Galaxy. However, there is one bit of good news for everyone that I just recently learned: the Galaxy S IV very likely won't be sporting that pentile matrix that most tech savvy users have learned to hate.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy S III shipped with a Pentile Matrix, which simply keeps the screen from being as beautiful and sharp as possible. Much to our surprise, the Note II did not ship with a Pentile Matrix and has received a lot of praise for this, something that Samsung has very likely heard about. This means that it's likely that the S IV will not be shipping with a pentile matrix, which makes us all happy.
Processor, Graphics and Memory:
Galaxy devices have always been at the top of the food chain when it comes to raw performance, and according to a few rumors the S IV will continue this trend and perhaps maintain the title of "Fastest Phone on the Market" for quite some time. It is rumored that the S IV will come with an Exynos 5 Quadcore Processor based on the ARM Cortex a-15 architecture. What does this mean? Well, it means that the Galaxy S IV will possibly be twice as fast as the Note II, which is probably the only phone fast enough to compete with the Nexus 4 and Optimus G for the "fastest phone" title.
The Exynos 5 dual-core chip is the chip that powers the Google Nexus 10, which is arguably the fastest tablet in the world. Having an extra 2 cores only means that the S IV will be even faster than the fastest mobile chip out today. Seriously, the Exynos 5250 Dual Core matches the performance of Intel's fastest Atom series Processors, which are normally used in portable laptops. Impressive.
The Exynos 5 dual-core has been paired with a Mali-600 GPU that delivers performance comparable to that of the iPad, which is the King of Mobile Graphics. It is very likely that the S IV will pack the same GPU as the Nexus 10, meaning that the 1080p 5 inch screen should not only look great, but run absolutely buttery smooth.
In terms of RAM memory, I would say that the S IV will likely pack 2 GB, as this seems like it's more than enough for practically all Smartphone Users today. Frankly, I don't see a point in having more RAM. I have a hard time using the 1GB that came with my S II, I highly doubt anyone needs any more than 2 GB, and I think that Samsung agrees.
