Firefox remembers MS Internet Explorer development team for IE 10 launch

Even though the competition between the browsers is fierce, the competition doesn't seem to affect the relationships between the two browser developer teams.

Mozilla's Firefox team and Microsoft's IE developer teams have had it a tradition for a long time to remember the competitor for important launches with a cake.

The Firefox developer Matt Brubeck says the tradition started when the Mozilla foundation released Firefox 2.0, and the IE team sent a cake with a IE-logo to congratulate them.

Firefox continued to receive the congratulatory cake until the 4th version of Firefox, when they moved to the faster updating policy, and the cake changed to a muffin.

Though, now that the IE 10 has been released, the Firefox team has sent a cake to congratulate the IE team for the launch.
