Windows Phone 8 reboot issues getting a fix next month

We've seen reports from users in the last few days about the new Windows Phone 8 OS rebooting and hanging randomly for no apparent reason. Now Microsoft says they've found the reason, and a fix will be provided in December.

Microsoft didn't tell us what exactly caused the random reboots or other issues, but what's most important is that the problem has been addressed and an update is coming soon.
The update will be rolled out as an OTA (Over The Air) update, but will most probably also be available through Zune.
Most interestingly the issue hasn't been plaguing all of the WP 8 devices, and some of them only by random hangs.
