The Indestructible Nokia

It's no doubt that Nokia makes some of the best built phones around, period. Any phone that is able to survive being hit with a fastball, be run over by a car and be used to hammer a nail into a 2x4 is a very well built phone. In the spirit of innovation, Nokia has decided that this simply isn't enough, and has worked out a grant for 1.35 Billion Dollars to develop the strongest material in the world, a carbon-material known as graphene.

According to Nokia graphene would only weigh .77 milligrams and be 300 times stronger than steel, which would be a very impressive feat. Such a material could be used to produce unbreakable phones, and let's be honest, who wouldn't like an unbreakable phone?
Some scientific evidence exists that shows that Graphene may be toxic to all animals, however, those same studies show that coating the material with a polymer made it safe to use.
Nokia, once again, has proven it is a company that truly innovates and will continue doing so in the future. Let's hope that this research ends up producing a material that will get Nokia the attention it deserves.
