Google Drive desktop application poses a security threat

The Google Drive desktop application has been found to have a security risk. This security risk will allow anyone using the same computer where a user is logged in to Google Drive to see your account data.
Even logging out from Google on your browser won't help, since the application will automatically enter your login info, and therefore allowing anyone trying to access Gmail see your account.

This risk is present on both Windows and Mac OS systems. If you're using Google Drive on a shared computer, it's recommended to at least have a password protecting the computer login.
