Canonical shows their tablet ready Ubuntu OS

The OS uses a gesture based navigation in its UI just like in the smarthphone counterpart, similiar to the one found in Nokia's MeeGo on the N9.
Canonical has taken advantage of the best innovations around, such as the Windows 8's "Side Stage" (as the ubuntu developers call it), which allows you to mount another app on the side of your display, and use both at the same time.
Another awesome aspect of Ubuntu has come along in the mobile version, and that's multiple user accounts. This allows you to share a tablet with someone else. The OS also supports guest mode, which allows the usage without an account.
Ideal specifications for such a tablet, according to the developer, are a 6 inch display, A15 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory.
A developer preview of the OS will be available for the Nexus 7 and 10 soon.
