Looks like Nokia is serious about getting the developing markets back to its grip by the newest addition to their cheap Windows Phone devices family.

Nokia announced the Lumia 620 running Windows Phone 8. The new lower-end smartphone runs S4 Snapdragon and boasts with some colorful looks.

Being a low-end device, the Lumia 620 doesn't have a top-notch specs, but something a regular user could certainly use.

Strangely enough, unlike for the high-end Lumias, Nokia has included the MicroSD slot in the Lumia 620. There's also an 8 GB internal storage.

The Lumia 620 has a 3.8" ClearBlack LCD display with WVGA resolution (800x480), but it does have a dual core 1GHz processor, which is not often seen in lower-end devices. It also has an Adreno 305 GPU and 512MB of RAM. This one ought to run pretty much anything you throw at it.

Being a Nokia child, the 620 will run Nokia Drive and other Nokia goodies in a small, beautiful and affordable package.

Availability for the phone will start in January 2013 and will be first available in the Asia and after that in Europe. The device will cost at around $249 including taxes.
